The Internet: my distractor

I don't think I have the brains or the self-control to just quit abusing the internet. I start with the best intentions: "today draw comic, clean bathroom, pay bills, send invoices!" and end with "ooh twitter/facebook/google plus". So yesterday I chose No Internet At ALL!

Yes, it was scary, and yes the withdrawal symptoms where all there ("what is happening in the world? I must know! Perhaps I died and I don't know because I can't read about it on twitter!?"). But I got sooo much done.

1) breakfast at café with crosswords and husband.
2) stroll through springtime Gothenburg
3) Buy food for dinner
4) Draw comic. Five pages penned, two pages inked!

page two ink but the pencils still not erased.

So today, starting noon (in 30 minutes), there will be internetz-silence until tonight! I have this idea of making a comic, you know like our grandfathers used to. No wacom, no 'puter, no nothing! Just pencil, paper and damn ink! For the record I am so pissed of at the low level of complexity of pens - you just can't recalculate the sensitivity of them - they come with a fixed setting from the factory! Pffft! Also my arm hurt.

Perhaps maybe colours in photoshop - but maybe with watercolours instead...
